GRAINCO FS PEMB Chemical Warehouse & Load-Out Facility

Greystone Construction completed a new chemical warehouse & liquid load-out facility for GRAINCO FS in Mazon, Illinois. Built for reliable chemical storage, blending, and liquid loadout operations, the 18,000‑square‑foot facility offers three high‑capacity loadout bays—two bottom‑load and one fully automated, unattended 24/7 bay with top and bottom load options. It also includes a mini‑bulk packaging station, a 1‑million‑gallon solution tank, 180,000 gallons of liquid fertilizer storage, and 65,000 gallons of bulk herbicide capacity, enabling efficient handling and distribution of agricultural and chemical products. With the new facility in place, enhanced automation and optimized loadout systems now deliver faster, more precise fills—cutting semi loading times by up to 30 minutes. The pre-engineered metal building was manufactured by Nucor Building Systems.
