Willmar, Minnesota Outdoor Covered Ice Rink
The GC Fabric Building Division recently completed this 117' x 232' fabric structure for the City of Willmar, Minnesota, to serve as a premium ice rink cover. Its open-ended design provides excellent airflow and visibility, while the column-free interior ensures unobstructed space for skaters and spectators. The fabric roof allows natural lighting, creating a bright and inviting environment while protecting the rink from snow, rain, and harsh weather.
Pagel II Arena Ice Rink Construction
The Pagel II Ice Arena Addition expands the existing Pagel Activity Center with a new NHL-sized ice sheet, designed to serve both high school and community hockey programs. The project features locker rooms, training facilities, storage areas, public lobby, and meeting spaces to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Constructed on a challenging hillside site, the addition was strategically designed to fit the only available buildable area on the Minnetonka High School campus.
Greystone was able to efficiently manage all aspects for which they were responsible; furthermore, they were able to do it while keeping the project within the construction budget and necessary schedule. They followed through with the owner's requests and the intent of the construction documents while maintaining model jobsite safety and construction methods. Fogarty Arena Curling Club
Located in Blaine, Minnesota, Fogarty Arena is a 28,000-square-foot curling facility with six ice sheets, each 15 feet wide, designed for competitive and recreational play. The venue includes a spacious club room with a bar and food service, offering a welcoming atmosphere for players and guests. Spectators can enjoy views from three sides of the rink, including an elevated second-story mezzanine.
Breckenridge, Colorado Outdoor Covered Ice Rink
The Stephen C. West Ice Rink in Breckenridge, Colorado includes a seasonal, full-size open-air covered outdoor rink (typically open September–March) with adjacent support areas for public programming and group events. Situated at the south end of town off Highway 9, the facility provides an iconic mountain setting for skating, lessons, and community use.
